Real Good Food fiscal H1 loss narrows YOY

Real Good Food plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to a loss of £135,000, compared with a loss of £239,380 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to £46.7 million from £45.6 million, and total operating expenses totaled £45.7 million, compared with £45.6 million in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income came to £9.4 million, or 12 pence per share, compared to a loss of £360,000, or a loss of 1 pence per share, in the year-earlier period.
