Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives Inc. secured a $67 million contract to construct the 130-MW Richland wind project in Sac County, Iowa, according to an Oct. 16 company news release.
IEA will handle the engineering, procurement and construction of project roads, wind turbine foundations, the medium voltage collection system and the project substation.
Construction of the project is scheduled to start in October, with a target full operation date in September 2020.
