France's Société Générale SA on May 17 said it appointed three different country officers for Mexico, Brazil and Canada.
Jose Antonio Merigo will become chief country officer for Mexico effective July 1. He replaces Luis Sainz, who will be transferred to Brazil from Mexico to replace Francis Repka effective Aug. 1.
Repka, in turn, was tapped as chief country officer for Canada, effective May 1, replacing Pierre Matuszewski, who announced his retirement from the bank.
The company noted that the appointments of Repka and Sainz are subject to approval from the respective immigration and regulatory authorities.
