Oklahoma-based Republic Bank & Trust merging with Armstrong Bank

Republic Bank & Trust is merging with Armstrong Bank, The Norman (Okla.) Transcript reported, citing a news release.

The Oklahoma-based banks are units of Ironhorse Financial Group Inc.

Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020, the merger will combine the two banks under a common charter and under the Armstrong Bank name.

Republic Bank & Trust had $566.1 million in assets as of June 30 and operates three banks in Norman and one each in Noble and Oklahoma City. Armstrong Bank had total assets of $1.02 billion as of June 30.
