GE secures turbine contract for 143-MW wind farm in Sweden

GE Renewable Energy won a contract to supply turbines to the 143-MW Blåbergsliden wind farm in Sweden.

The contract includes a 25-year service agreement, according to a Dec. 12 announcement.

The project will be operational by the end of 2021. Once live, it will be able to generate enough power for 135,000 homes.
