Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai fiscal Q3 profit climbs 35.1% YOY

Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended May 31 came to ¥2.30 per share, an increase of 33.0% from ¥1.73 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥93.8 million, a gain of 35.1% from ¥69.4 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 10.0% from 7.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 5.5% year over year to ¥941.0 million from ¥892.0 million, and total operating expenses came to ¥786.0 million, compared with ¥780.0 million in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income grew year over year to ¥101.5 million, or ¥2.49 per share, from ¥14.4 million, or 36 sen per share.
