Whitehorse closes 2nd PE secondary fund at US$1B

As expected, Toronto-based private equity firm Whitehorse Liquidity Partners closed its second private equity secondary fund at its US$1 billion hard cap, the PE Hub Network reported, citing a news release.

The fund had a US$800 million target, and investors included a diverse mix of financial institutions, individual backers, insurers, pension plans and family offices.

Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel for the fundraising.
