Naked Brand Group Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended April 30 came to a loss of 39 cents per share, compared with a loss of 56 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $335,290, compared with a loss of $402,150 in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin was 279.8%.
Total revenue increased 28.0% year over year to $119,810 from $93,570, and total operating expenses fell 12.8% year over year to $478,100 from $548,060.
Reported net income came to a loss of $1.2 million, or a loss of $1.45 per share, compared to a loss of $883,110, or a loss of $1.22 per share, in the prior-year period.
