Golden Resources Development International Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to 2 Hong Kong cents per share, an increase of 34.7% from 2 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$35.8 million, a gain of 34.7% from HK$26.6 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to HK$499.2 million from HK$477.7 million, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to HK$453.0 million from HK$445.4 million.
Reported net income increased on an annual basis to HK$89.4 million, or 5 cents per share, from HK$35.4 million, or 2 cents per share.
