Kidoz Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of $396,170, compared with a loss of $461,230 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue climbed year over year to $110,560 from $8,690, and total operating expenses rose from the prior-year period to $741,300 from $712,850.

Reported net income totaled a loss of $561,980, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of $556,830, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
