Partners Group launches A$550M private debt offering

Swiss private equity company Partners Group Holding AG on Oct. 4 launched a listed investment trust in Australia called the Partners Group Global Income Fund.

The oversubscribed trust was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange on Sept. 26 under the ASX code PGG and has raised A$550 million, the company said.

Investments will be allocated across three private debt strategies including first-tier loans; second-lien and subordinated loans; and select investments in special situations.

Partners Group said the trust expects to pay cash distributions monthly with a Reserve Bank of Australia cash rate of plus 4% per annum.
