Bardoc Gold Ltd. said Sept. 2 that it executed a deal to acquire prospecting license P24/4698 for A$60,000 in cash, plus 3 million share options.
The Vettersburg license in Western Australia contains the historic Slug Hill gold mine, is contiguous to the broader tenement package at the company's Bardoc gold project, lying 7.5 kilometers north of the Zoroastrian deposit.
Limited exploration work over the license was last conducted in the 1980s, with no drilling conducted over the high-grade plunge of the ore body that was mined between 1897 and 1908.
