Iron Mountain expands Manassas, Va., data center campus

Iron Mountain Inc. broke ground on a new building, VA-2, at its Manassas data center campus, expanding the Prince William County, Va., campus.

The storage and information management company inaugurated its initial building on the campus, VA-1, in September 2017, with an investment of about $100 million and expects to invest more than $350 million in the campus.

The company noted that the new building alone represents an incremental $225 million when fully built out.

Development on the initial phase of VA-2 is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
