Kroger names new Central, Dillons division presidents

Kroger Co. on Jan. 21 appointed Colleen Juergensen as president of its Central division and Steve Dreher as president of its Dillons business.

Juergensen will leave her post as president of Dillons and succeed Pam Matthews, who will retire, effective Feb. 2. Juergensen will be responsible for 134 stores and more than 15,000 associates across Indiana, southern Illinois and eastern Missouri.

Meanwhile, Steve Dreher will succeed Juergensen as president of the Dillons unit, which operates stores under the Dillons, Baker's and Gerbes banners. Dreher is the retailer's current vice president of operations. He will be responsible for 80 stores and 11,500 associates across Kansas, southeastern Nebraska and central Missouri, Kroger said.
