Minmetals Land independent nonexecutive director to depart

Minmetals Land Ltd. said its independent nonexecutive director Maria Tam Wai Chu will step down April 1 to focus on her personal business.

The director is also relinquishing her chairmanship role in the remuneration committee, as well as her membership in the audit and nomination committees.

The Hong Kong-listed developer will bring in Fanny Law Fan Chiu Fun to fill the vacated positions, which will also be effective on the same date.

Law is an independent nonexecutive director of CLP Holdings Ltd., China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd., DTXS Silk Road Investment Holdings Co. Ltd. and Nameson Holdings Ltd.

She also serves as the chairperson of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corp. and an external director of China Resources (Holdings) Co. Ltd., among other roles.
