WeWork property funds reap more than $400M

Wework Property Investors LLC, a joint venture between coworking giant WeWork Cos. and private equity firm Rhône Capital, has raised more than $400 million thus far through four funds.

To date, WeWork Property Investors LP has raised $25.0 million, WeWork Property Investors Fund A LP has pulled in $201.0 million, WeWork Property Investors Fund B LP has raised $78.0 million and WeWork Property Investors Fund B-1 LP has collected $100.0 million.

One to two investors have invested in each fund, which did not set fundraising targets, according to four separate March 12 filings.

The capital raised could provide WeWork with a massive war chest to potentially acquire "billions of dollars in assets," Bisnow reported.
