Asmo Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥6.95 per share, a decrease of 67.4% from ¥21.32 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥97.5 million, a decline of 67.4% from ¥298.9 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 2.3% from 7.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 6.6% on an annual basis to ¥4.16 billion from ¥3.90 billion, and total operating expenses grew 16.8% on an annual basis to ¥4.01 billion from ¥3.43 billion.
Reported net income totaled ¥55.0 million, or ¥3.92 per share, compared to a loss of ¥403.0 million, or a loss of ¥28.74 per share, in the year-earlier period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥39.59 per share, a fall of 52.3% from ¥83.04 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥555.1 million, a fall of 52.3% from ¥1.16 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose 15.3% from the prior-year period to ¥16.92 billion from ¥14.67 billion, and total operating expenses increased 25.5% on an annual basis to ¥16.04 billion from ¥12.77 billion.
The company said reported net income decreased 44.9% year over year to ¥478.0 million, or ¥34.09 per share, in the full year, from ¥868.0 million, or ¥61.91 per share.
