Old National Bancorp files mixed shelf

Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bancorp filed a mixed shelf registration statement for the sale of several of its securities from time to time.

The filing covers the sale of debt, common and preferred stock, depositary shares, purchase contracts, units, and warrants.

Proceeds from the sale of the securities will be added to the company's general funds and may be used for debt reduction or debt refinancing, including the refinancing of outstanding capital securities; investments in or advances to subsidiaries; acquisitions of bank and nonbank subsidiaries; repurchase of shares of common stock or other securities; and other general corporate purposes. Net proceeds may also be temporarily invested in securities or held in deposits of the company's affiliated banks.
