Takasho fiscal Q3 profit climbs 26.2% YOY

Takasho Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Oct. 20 was ¥12.68 per share, a gain of 26.3% from ¥10.04 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥155.8 million, an increase of 26.2% from ¥123.4 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 3.5% from 3.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 7.7% on an annual basis to ¥4.48 billion from ¥4.16 billion, and total operating expenses grew 8.9% year over year to ¥4.30 billion from ¥3.95 billion.

Reported net income grew year over year to ¥128.0 million, or ¥10.42 per share, from ¥123.0 million, or ¥10.01 per share.
