Roper Technologies Inc. reported fourth-quarter 2017 EPS of $4.27 on a GAAP basis, a 141% increase year over year, as reported net revenue rose 21% to $1.23 billion.
The company said its adjusted EBITDA increased 21% to $441 million. Both operating cash flow and free cash flow rose 36% to $369 million and $353 million, respectively.
The company's adjusted EPS totaled $2.70, a 23% increase. Adjusted results exclude a one-time net gain of $215 million resulting from the U.S. tax reform law, in addition to customary adjustments.
Fourth-quarter 2017 net earnings totaled $443.9 million, compared to $182.1 million a year ago, and $971.8 million in the full year 2017, compared to $658.6 million in 2016. Adjusted EPS came in at $9.42 for 2017, compared to $7.84 in 2016.
For the full year 2017, Roper Technologies reported a 22% increase in revenue to $4.61 billion on a GAAP basis. Adjusted EBITDA amounted to $1.60 billion, a 22% increase.
The company expects full-year 2018 adjusted EPS between $10.88 and $11.20, with first-quarter adjusted EPS between $2.44 and $2.50.
