Danske Commodities reports higher 2018 results, names new CEO

Danske Commodities A/S on March 15 reported 2018 profit before tax of €71.6 million, an increase from €60.3 million in 2017.

Gross profit in 2018 was €123.5 million, compared to €103.4 million in the prior year. Revenues were €9.38 billion, up from €5.47 billion in 2017.

Additionally, the Equinor ASA subsidiary appointed CFO Helle Østergaard Kristiansen as its new CEO, effective April 1, 2019, according to a news release.

Kristiansen is replacing founder Henrik Lind, who will remain with the company as a member of the board of directors.
