Topkey Q3 profit climbs 74.4% YOY

Topkey Corp. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to NT$2.33 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of NT$2.52 per share.

EPS increased 74.2% year over year from NT$1.34.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$211.7 million, a gain of 74.4% from NT$121.4 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 11.1% from 6.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose year over year to NT$1.91 billion from NT$1.83 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 9.2% from the prior-year period to NT$1.73 billion from NT$1.59 billion.

Reported net income rose 17.8% year over year to NT$242.0 million, or NT$2.66 per share, from NT$205.4 million, or NT$2.26 per share.
