Ramaco adds board of directors seat, appoints 2 members to fill vacancies

Ramaco Resources Inc.'s board of directors will increase by one member to a total of 10, with Trent Kososki and Peter Leidel named to fill two vacancies.

Affiliates of Yorktown Partners LLC, which holds more than 50% of voting power of the outstanding shares of capital stock in the coal producer, adopted a resolution on Sept. 24 to increase the board's size, according to a Sept. 27 filing.

Kososki and Leidel will be appointed concurrent to the board increase becoming effective, with their terms set to expire at the company's annual shareholders meeting in 2020.

Kososki served on the board of directors from December 2016 to June 2019 and has been a principal at Energy Capital Partners LLC since 2014. Leidel is a founder and partner of Yorktown Partners and focuses on energy companies in different industries.
