Stonewall increases TGME's Vaalhoek gold resource by 215%

Stonewall Resources Ltd. said March 9 that it released a maiden open-cut resource for the Vaalhoek mine, part of the larger TGME gold project in South Africa.

The maiden resource for the open cut operations at Vaalhoek came in at 334,700 ounces of gold contained in 617,000 tonnes grading 16.9 g/t gold in the measured, indicated and inferred categories.

As a result, the total Vaalhoek resource increased by 215% to 791,000 ounces of gold contained in 3.3 million tonnes grading 7.46 g/t gold, including a revised underground resource.
