Report: Bank of America global i-banking head to leave

Bank of America Corp. plans to name two co-heads of global investment banking following the departure of the current leader, Diego de Giorgi, the Financial Times reported, citing "two people familiar with the situation."

Jack MacDonald, a California-based technology banker, and Tom Sheehan, a healthcare banker based in New York, are expected to be named to the roles, according to the report.

De Giorgi's pending departure would follow shortly after Christian Meissner, Bank of America's former head of corporate and investment banking, left the company. Meissner has been rumored to be in talks with UBS Group AG as a potential successor to its CEO.
