Olympic Group Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, came to a loss of ¥5.90 per share, compared with a loss of 78 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥135.6 million, compared with a loss of ¥18.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 0.5% from negative 0.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥25.32 billion from ¥24.59 billion, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to ¥25.47 billion from ¥24.57 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥314.0 million, or a loss of ¥13.67 per share, compared to a loss of ¥36.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.56 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Jan. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.49.
