Rothschild & Co. SCA held the final closing of its third European corporate private equity fund at its hard cap of €1.25 billion.
Five Arrows Principal Investments III, managed by Rothschild's private equity arm Five Arrows Managers SAS, received support from institutions, corporations, international family offices and entrepreneurs from Europe, North America and Asia. The global financial investor, alongside its partners and senior staff, also made a substantial investment in the fund.
Proceeds from the fund will be used to capitalize lower-middle-market companies, valued between €75 million and €300 million, in the healthcare, education, data, software and technology-enabled business services sectors.
It aims to invest €35 million to €100 million per transaction, with the capacity to commit significantly larger equity amounts, together with the fund's sponsors.
