Mackinac Financial unit community banking exec to retire

Michael Mahler, executive vice president and managing director of community banking at Manistique, Mich.-based mBank, will retire June 18, WBKB11-TV reported.

Mahler joined the Mackinac Financial Corp. unit when it acquired First Federal of Northern Michigan Bancorp Inc. in May 2018. He was the CEO of First Federal at the time of the acquisition.
