CITIC Securities unit to list US$3B note program on Hong Kong bourse

CITIC Securities Co. Ltd. unit CITIC Securities Finance MTN Co. Ltd. has applied to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong to list a US$3 billion medium-term note program.

The company said April 7 that it plans to list the notes within a period of 12 months via debt issues to professional investors.

The listing of the program is expected to come into effect on or about April 10. The notes issued under the program will be guaranteed by CITIC Securities.

The arrangers for the medium-term note program are CITIC CLSA Securities, Bank of China, Citi, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong).
