Scotiabank pays C$157.7M in stock buyback

Bank of Nova Scotia completed a buyback agreement, under which it repurchased 2,000,400 common shares from a third party.

It paid C$157.7 million for the shares. All were canceled.

The buyback agreement with the third party is part of Scotiabank's normal issuer course bid for up to 24 million of its common shares.
