China Construction Bank gets approval to operate in New Zealand

China Construction Bank Corp. obtained approval from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to operate in the country.

The bank was registered to operate as a branch in New Zealand.

A New Zealand subsidiary of the Chinese lender has been providing banking services in the country since July 2014.
