Sale of 3 Greek Cyprus Popular Bank units completed

The sale of the now-defunct Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co. Ltd.'s Greek units Investment Bank of Greece SA, CPB Asset Management AEDAK and Laiki Factors & Forfeiters SA to Ireon Investments Ltd. has been completed.

In November 2018, Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries SA won a bid to buy the Greek companies through Ireon Investments for €73.5 million.

Cyprus Popular Bank, also known as Laiki Bank, was wound up in 2013.
