Nuclear update: Total US output edges higher as Brunswick 2 ramps power

Total U.S. nuclear plant availability edged higher early Feb. 26 to 93.16%, up from 93.02% on Feb. 23 and well above the 89.82% rating reported on the same day a year ago.

Giving a small boost to total output was an increase in power at Duke Energy Corp.'s Brunswick 2 in North Carolina to 96% as of Feb. 26, up from 70% on Feb. 23.
