Country Garden's FY'17 attributable profit up 126% YOY to 26B yuan

Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. said profit attributable to owners of the company increased 126.3% year over year to 26.06 billion yuan from about 11.52 billion yuan.

Gross profit totaled roughly 58.79 billion yuan, up 82.4% from the approximately 32.24 billion yuan registered in the prior-year period.

EPS for the reporting year, meanwhile, surged to 122.46 fen from the 52.13 fen logged in 2016.

Total revenue for full-year 2017 came to about 226.90 billion yuan, a gain of 48.2% from the 153.09 billion yuan recorded in the year-earlier period.

The board recommended a final dividend of 24.95 fen per share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2017, up 144.6% year over year from 2016's 10.20 fen.

As of March 19, US$1 was equivalent to 6.33 yuan.
