Big Rock Brewery Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 3 Canadian cents per share, a gain from 1 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was C$218,750, an increase from C$93,130 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 1.9% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled C$11.9 million, compared with C$11.9 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses fell year over year to C$11.4 million from C$11.8 million.
Reported net income rose on an annual basis to C$206,640, or 3 cents per share, from C$68,760, or 1 cents per share.
