Mitsui Home Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 amounted to ¥74.38 per share, compared with ¥74.67 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥4.93 billion, compared with ¥4.95 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 5.4% from 5.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥91.19 billion, compared with ¥91.23 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to ¥83.28 billion, compared with ¥83.39 billion in the prior-year period.
Reported net income fell year over year to ¥4.71 billion, or ¥71.07 per share, from ¥4.87 billion, or ¥73.42 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥42.88 per share, a gain of 7.9% from ¥39.74 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥2.84 billion, a rise of 7.9% from ¥2.63 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased from the prior-year period to ¥256.16 billion from ¥252.96 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥251.53 billion from ¥248.99 billion.
The company said reported net income fell 8.8% year over year to ¥1.68 billion, or ¥25.35 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.84 billion, or ¥27.81 per share.
As of June 27, US$1 was equivalent to ¥101.69.
