JPMorgan nabs 2 energy M&A i-bankers from Morgan Stanley

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has appointed investment bankers Jonathan Cox and Michael Johnson to its energy group.

Cox will serve as global co-head of oil and gas investment banking and co-head of JPMorgan's office in Houston, while Johnson will serve as a vice chairman of investment banking, Bloomberg News reported May 24, citing an internal memo.

Both Cox and Johnson come from Morgan Stanley where Cox led its energy M&A investment banking group and Johnson worked as a senior adviser within the group.

In addition, JPMorgan named Paschall Tosh a vice chairman of investment banking. Tosh most recently worked as co-head of oil and gas investment banking at the company, according to the news agency.
