Brookdale Senior Living proposes 1-year terms for directors

Brookdale Senior Living Inc.'s board adopted an amendment to its certificate of incorporation to provide that directors be elected to serve for one-year terms.

The seniors housing facility operator will submit the proposed amendment for approval at its 2019 annual shareholder meeting. Once effective, the one-year terms will apply to a majority of the company's directors elected at its 2020 shareholder meeting and to all directors elected at the 2021 meeting.
