Enterprise starts Mentone gas processing plant in Delaware Basin

Enterprise Products Partners LP on Jan. 21 said it put into service its 300-MMcf/d Mentone cryogenic natural gas processing plant in Loving County, Texas.

The facility has the capacity to extract more than 40,000 barrels per day of NGLs and is underpinned by a long-term acreage dedication agreement, according to a news release. The plant, which is Enterprise's seventh processing plant in the Delaware Basin, raises the partnership's gas processing capacity and NGL extraction capacity in the Permian Basin to over 1.6 MMcf/d and 250,000 bbl/d, respectively.

Enterprise said it also built 66 miles of large-diameter gathering and residue pipelines and increased compression between the Mentone gas processing facility and the partnership's NGL and Texas intrastate gas pipeline networks, according to the release.

In addition, the partnership is building fractionation capacity of 300,000 bbl/d at its Mont Belvieu, Texas, complex.
