Home Depot sells notes

Home Depot Inc. on May 24 entered into an underwriting agreement for the sale of $500 million aggregate principal amount of floating rate notes and $750 million of 1.800% senior notes both due June 5, 2020, and $750 million of 3.900% senior notes due June 15, 2047.

The agreement was entered into with Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., according to a May 26 SEC filing.

The company expects the offering to close June 5.
