Turkey's Competition Authority is investigating several banks over alleged violations in foreign exchange and other services, Reuters reported, citing Turkish media.

The competition watchdog is said to be looking into local and foreign banks and is also reportedly investigating deposit, credit and brokerage services, according to broadcaster NTV and Hürriyet, which did not cite a source.

The Turkish Competition Authority was not available for comment and did not state any new investigations on its website.
