Serb nationalist Dodik wins seat in Bosnia-Herzegovina presidency

Bosnian Serb nationalist leader Milorad Dodik won the Serb seat of Bosnia-Herzegovina's three-member presidency, Reuters reported, citing the country's election commission.

Dodik, a pro-Russia politician, secured 55% of the vote in the Oct. 7 elections. The results were based on about 42% of counted ballots, with a voter turnout of 53.3%, Reuters said.

Party of Democratic Action's Šefik Džaferović won the Bosnian Muslim seat with 38% of the vote, and Moderate Croat Željko Komšić won the Croat seat with 49.5%.
