San Teh Q2 loss narrows YOY

4980725 said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of S$1.3 million, compared with a loss of S$1.5 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to negative 31.6% from negative 27.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 24.5% year over year to S$4.2 million from S$5.6 million, and total operating expenses fell 27.6% from the prior-year period to S$5.3 million from S$7.3 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of S$2.4 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of S$2.6 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
