Bioasis fills 2 board vacancies, loses a board director

Bioasis Technologies Inc. said July 27 that John Curran and David Wurzer will fill two vacancies on the company's board of directors.

Curran retired in June from his position as a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP after 41 years with the accounting and consulting firm. Wurzer works as the executive vice president and chief investment officer at Connecticut Innovations Inc. and has previously worked with several pharmaceutical and biotech companies, according to the Bioasis press release.

Bioasis also announced that director Mahalakshmi Radhakrishnan resigned due to personal reasons, effective immediately. Radhakrishnan has been a director of the Guilford, Conn.-based biopharmaceutical company since September 2017.
