Effective April 1, China will scrap administrative fees for 41 procedures across a number of departments, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission said in a joint notice released March 23.
A number of administrative fees under the China FDA will be suspended. These include good supply practice certification and general manufacturing practice certification fees, and drug and medical device inspection fees.
The move aims to ease the burden on enterprises and individuals and promote economic development, the notice said.
