Denmark files suits against foreign pension funds, investors

Denmark has launched a series of lawsuits against foreign pension funds and investors in order to get back money it claims was paid out in fraudulent tax refunds, Reuters reported.

The country has launched 50 cases against investors and is seeking to recoup up to 12.7 billion Danish kroner, which amounts to approximately $2 billion.

As of May 24, US$1 was equivalent to 6.35 Danish Kroner.
