Liquidity Services accounting chief resigns

Michael Sweeney will step down as chief accounting officer of Liquidity Services Inc., effective April 20.

Sweeney’s decision to resign was not the result of any disagreement with the company, according to a March 30 SEC filing. Sweeney, who was named accounting chief in February 2016, will assist the company with the transition of his responsibilities.

The company is conducting a search to find a new chief accounting officer.
