Statkraft, Solaria sign power contract for 252 MW of solar projects in Spain

Norwegian energy group Statkraft AS and Spanish power producer Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente SA signed a power purchase agreement for the output of five solar parks in Spain, with an initial term of 10 years.

The five solar parks, of which three are in Castilla y León and two are in Castilla La Mancha, will have a combined capacity of 252 MW. In total, they are expected to have an annual generation of 500 GWh.

The projects will be connected to the power grid in stages through 2020.
