St. Galler Kantonalbank enters 150th year with increased dividend

St. Galler Kantonalbank will propose to increase its dividend by CHF1 in relation to the full year 2017, with another CHF1.50 on the occasion of its 150th anniversary in 2018 bringing its total proposed dividend to CHF17.50, corresponding to 62.5% of its consolidated 2017 group profit, which stood at CHF156 million, up 6.8% from CHF146 million a year earlier.

For the 2018 financial year, the Swiss lender expects its consolidated profit to be in the range of its 2017 figures given current economic assessment and continued advisory competence, digitization and investment business.
