Provident Financial CFO to step down

U.K.-based Provident Financial PLC CFO Simon Thomas intends to step down from his role after the firm releases its 2019 preliminary results in March 2020.

Thomas, who took a leave in April to undergo heart surgery, is leaving the company for health reasons.

Provident's board will search for a successor over the remaining eight months of Thomas' tenure, according to the July 30 filing.
